Goodbye Blues

喜欢Greta Salpeter的声音，那是一种令人感到惊叹的声音，一个天生的涉人心魄的女声。



Goodbye Blues 是 The Hush Sound 乐队的第三张专辑。风格依然延续了前二张的风格。The Hush Sound 的音乐里提供了一种不同于以往那种单一的饱和rock场景，这种 indie-folk-pop-rock 风格崩发出充满诡异的吉他即兴片段、振奋的钢琴部分、层次分明的男女重唱。这种风格难以归纳，但却是最原始最充满想像的。



The Hush Sound 一开始是由 Bob Morris(guitar) 和 Greta Salpeter(piano/guitar) 组成。Greta Salpeter 从三岁就开始学习古典钢琴。后来经过朋友介绍认识了 Morris。两人发现致趣相同，尽管一个7年级，一个10年级，但两人还是一有空就做自己的音乐，在2004年寒假，两个开始正式写歌，并起了个名字叫"The hush" ，而"sound"是两个人觉得可能叫出来会更上口最后才加上的。随着深入，两人觉得“二重唱”没意思，就决定在招两个人组成个“四重唱”，Darren Wilson (drums)、Chris Faller (bass)就是在这种情况下加入的。



Faller更是放弃了另外两个乐队的邀请，最后加入The Hush Sound，使得乐队最后完整。“四重唱”（每个人都是歌唱的一份子）两个月后在自己的录音室完成了小样，两个晚上居然卖出了300多张！这引起了Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy发起人)注意并把他们签下自己旗下Decaydance。随后他们重新发布了那张小样并起名“So Sudden”。2006年乐队发行第二张专辑 《Like Vines》。
