电影原声 - Spirit:Stallion of the Cimarron(小马王/小马精灵)

影片讲述的是一匹野性不羁的野种小公马，在无拘无束地穿越美国边境地区时的冒险经历。第一次遇见人的小马斯比瑞特(Spirit)即使与年轻、勇敢的土著人(Lakota)利特尔-克里克(Little Creek)成了好朋友时，也不愿被征服。这匹无畏、年轻的小马在成为旧时西部最杰出、未被赞颂过的英雄之一的过程中，还与一匹漂亮的母马雷恩(Rain)坠入了爱河。

　　奥斯卡获奖演员马特-戴蒙(Matt Damon，以《心灵捕手》“Good Will Hunting”一片获奥斯卡最佳剧本奖)在片中以第一人称的口吻叙述了人物故事。曾获奥斯卡奖提名的语言天才詹姆斯-克伦威尔(James Cromwell，曾出演《小猪宝贝》“Babe”)在《小马精灵》中为骑兵团上校配音，他决定驯服这匹烈马，而美国本土演员丹尼尔-斯塔蒂(Daniel Studi)，在片中则为利特尔-克里克配音。

　　梦工厂(DreamWorks)这部最新的动画片表明了目前被视为传统卡通片的电影还是需要传统的摄制技术。计算机出现在动画片领域使摄制流派发生了革命性的变化，特别是产生了那些全部由计算机制作的著名动画片，如去年的奥斯卡获奖影片《怪物施莱克》(“Shrek”)。然而，计算机对2D----即所谓的传统技术----动画片的制作影响越来越大，计算机技术被证明对于提高整体动画质量有着令人惊讶的效果。《小马精灵》中那优美的画面是梦工厂迄今为止各类动画片中制作技术最为复杂的。
